Clarke AtkinsClarke Atkins, DVM,


the Jane Lewis Seaks Distinguished Professor of Companion Animal Medicine at North Carolina State University and 2004 Norden Award Winner, is board-certified by the ACVIM (Medicine & Cardiology). His research involves canine and feline heartworm disease and treatment of cardiovascular disease in dogs, cats, and horses.  He has over 150 publications and has provided well over 1000 hours of continuing education in the U.S. and many countries around the world.

sergi SerranoDr. Sergi Serrano, LV DVM DACVECC

Licenciado en Veterinaria por la Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona en 1993.

Tras 10 años de práctica en clínica de urgencias en España, se trasladó al Reino Unido para completar una residencia en urgencias y cuidados intensivos en el Royal Veterinary College en Londres. Diplomado por el ACVECC en 2006.

En 2008 se desplazó a los Estados Unidos, donde ejerce desde entonces.

Ha publicado numerosos artículos y capítulos de libros en temas de urgencias y cuidados intensivos y ha impartido numerosas conferencias en eventos en Europa, Norteamérica y América del Sur.

Sus áreas de interés se centran en monitorización de la perfusión, traumatismo craneal, urgencias y cuidados intensivos pediátricos y transfusiones.

LappinMichael R. Lappin

DVM. Oklahoma State PhD in Parasitology. University of Georgia DACVIM (Internal Medicine) Affiliation: Professor, Department of Clinical Sciences, Colorado State University Dr. Lappin has served as the Kenneth W. Smith Professor of Small Animal Clinical Veterinary Medicine at Colorado State University since 2002. His research is in feline internal medicine with an emphasis on infectious diseases. His PhD is in parasitology and he was in general practice in Los Angeles for several years. He directs the Center for Companion Animal Studies
